About: As an Indian American female and physician practicing in the United States, I have experienced and borne witness to the systems and structures that both advantage and disadvantage certain groups. Over my years of medical practice, I have strived to provide equitable and compassionate care, honoring the whole individual. I further advanced my learning and refined my approach through Dr. Legha's Antiracism in Mental Health Fellowship, centering an antiracist framework in my practice and in my varied roles as a leader and board member.

About: As a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, I strive to provide just and equitable care that acknowledges psychiatry’s history of oppression. I recognize that patients have often been harmed by an uncaring medical system and see how racism and oppression impact mental and physical health. My approach centers on understanding patients’ full stories and experiences, offering healing strategies through an antiracist lens. Outside of patient care, I am an advocate and activist, teaching antiracist psychiatry to fellow mental health professionals. I recognize this work is ever-evolving and remain committed to self-reflection and continuous learning.
