Antiracism in Mental Health Fellowship

Graduate Ambassador Program (2025)

The Antiracism in Mental Health Fellowship Graduate Ambassador Program is intended for champions of this effort who wish to welcome their colleagues and friends into the circle, based on their first-hand experience completing the fellowship in 2024. This fellowship is all about building community and solidarity to advance a movement, and the ambassadors are a crucial part of this effort. We are so happy you are joining the team. You are the true inner, inner circle of this fellowship! We trust you, celebrate your expertise, and thank you for your dedication.

Fellowship ambassadors will receive payouts for each person they enroll into the fellowship. Payouts will total $250 dollars for each person enrolled. The best way to set yourself up for that payment is to encourage people to sign up for the waitlist immediately. The spring 2025 waitlist form includes a text field to indicate you referred them. The tentative start date for the 2025 program is late February or early March of 2025. The waitlist will remain open through the end of 2024. There will likely be an enrollment cap of 20-25 people.

Terms and Conditions

Please read the Terms and Conditions below and check the box to confirm your understanding and agreement.

  • In order to become am Ambassador, I must have completed the fellowship program in its entirety.
  • For every person who enrolls in the fellowship and names me as the person who referred them to the Fellowship, I am eligible for a $250 payout. The payout will be delivered to ambassadors AFTER learners have completed their tuition payment in full.
  • Payouts will be remitted within 30 days of Rupinder K Legha MD PC receiving the final tuition payment. Fellowship enrollees have to pay the full tuition in order for the Ambassador to receive the $250 payment. There may be lag time between credit card transactions and funds being deposited to Rupinder K Legha MD PC, and this lag time could slow payment to you as an ambassador.
  • If a fellowship enrollee does not complete payment for any reason (including because they leave the fellowship early or they do not adhere to the terms and agreements and are asked to leave), no payout will be processed to you.
  • There is no cap to the number of payouts you can receive as an ambassador. There is, however, a limit to the number of learners enrolled--so make sure you get your circle to enroll first!
  • Payouts to Fellowship Ambassadors can only be applied to packages costing $6000 or more.
  • I agree to follow our social media representation guidelines as follows:
    • We’re aiming to make your social media promotion of the fellowship as easy as possible. You are welcome to repost social media materials and also to copy and paste text from the fellowship website into your communications/ posts. We ask that you represent the Antiracism in Mental Health Fellowship supportively and with its best interest in mind. Please invite people to provide your name when asked who referred them to the fellowship.
    • Please follow Dr. Legha (IG:@RupiLeghaMD, LinkedIn: Rupinder Legha MD, Twitter: @RupiLegha). During the fall of 2024, she will be hosting webinars and events on Linked In to bring more people int the community.
    • Please do your best to tag Rupi to your posts so she can amplify and support your social media efforts. While it is not a requirement, it is VERY much appreciated. We'd love to synergize all of our efforts!
    • You are also welcome to create your own social media posts in keeping with the parameters described. If you have any doubts about what you can post, contact Dr. Legha immediately so she can help. The goal is to make it as easy (and fun!) as possible for you to post.
  • I understand that the ambassador pathway to payout is as follows: Ambassador shares information about the fellowship (via social media, email, or phone call). Potential ambassador enrollee is guided to sign up for the waitlist. Later this fall there will be an update to this pathway, depending on whether or not Dr. Legha requires enrollees to do solidarity sessions before joining. There are a few ways to ensure your ambassadorial service is recognized. First, ask people to include your name on the waitlist signup form. Second, the checkout page for the payment--when it opens--will have another prompt asking who sent them (second opportunity to denote the referral). As long as ambassador enrollees indicate your name through either or both of these two forms, you are set. A third option for ensuring a proper referral is for the potential ambassador enrollee to send an email including the fellowship ([email protected]) and you the ambassador and stating explicitly “I wish to inform you that Fellowship Ambassador (Name) referred me to this fellowship”--within 24 hours of the enrollee signing up.
  • Please keep in mind that fellowship enrollment will be capped at 25 and that the ambassador program must operate within those confines (so, once the fellowship fills, there will be no further opportunity to participate in the ambassador program).
  • There are bound to be some glitches during the 2025 fellowship experience. Rupinder K Legha MD PC knows you are providing your good name to encourage enrollment and has an open door to the ambassadors. You, therefore, always have a direct line to Dr. Legha (business cell: 323.250.2151) for urgent same-day matters (except for when Dr. Legha is out of the office). Money is a sensitive matter, so if you ever have a doubt or worry about a payout, contact Rupi immediately. Transparency and respect mean everything to her. So does her relationship with you--she is committed to developing and deepening it!
